Questions
Do I need Google Calendar?+
Yes, for now. flidek reads when you're busy so it only offers free times, and adds each booking for you. It only ever reads start and end times, never the details of your other events.
Does flidek keep my customers' details?+
No. A customer's postcode is used to check your area and isn't saved. Their name, phone and address go to your calendar and email, not into flidek. We keep only the time, the type of job and a rough distance, so your dashboard can show how the week went.
Where is my base kept?+
We use your postcode once to find your rough area, then forget it. The area we keep is encrypted and hidden from flidek's own staff screens.
How do customers find my booking link?+
You share it. Put it on your website, Facebook page, van, invoices or business card, and text it to customers who ask for a quote.
What if I'm fully booked?+
Customers only see times you're free in your Google Calendar. If there are none in the next two weeks, they're asked to contact you directly.
Can I cancel?+
Yes, any time from your account. There's no contract and no setup fee.
Does it book the job itself?+
No. It books the quote visit. You look at the job, give your price and agree the work with the customer as you do now.
